Our Story
Bali has a long and vibrant tradition of art, craftsmanship and cultural expression. In villages throughout the island, traditional skills have been passed from one generation to the next through families, communities and local artisans.
Bali Purma Art & Workshop was created to give visitors the opportunity to experience these traditions in a more personal and meaningful way.Rather than simply observing Balinese culture from the outside, our guests are invited to sit down with local artisans, learn traditional techniques and take part in the creative process.
Our workshops bring together art, craftsmanship and cultural education in a relaxed environment in Mas Village, Ubud. Each class is designed to introduce visitors to a different aspect of Balinese creativity, from working with natural materials and carving to painting, weaving, music and traditional dance.
